Strangelove organic energy elixir

Energy drinks are a dime a dozen but ones that are organic and completely, genuinely, nuts are harder to find.

This was one of the more interesting briefs that we have taken over the years. Create a mad looking brand for an organic natural energy drink that needs to appeal to hipsters, bartenders, architects, designers and gays. A broad brief but in essence it needed to be different and tell a real story. The bottle shape was out of scope so the label needed to be unique.

The idea was to base each of the labels on each of the directors past lives. The sins that they are now repenting for. Each label has an illustration wonderfully brought to life by Randy Mora that looks to tell these stores in an unconventional way.

We wanted the packaging to feel crafted, have layers and discoverables. It needed to speak to consumers in a different way and stand out through being unique and challenge a lot of the current FMCG semiotics.
