Smirnoff Ice

We have been working with the Smirnoff team on many projects since the inception of The Creative Method in 2005. Work includes both nation and international work for countries including the USA, Africa, China, India, Singapore, Indonesia, New Zealand and of course Australia. In 2010 The Creative Method redesigned the Smirnoff RTD range which included the design and development of a global style guide for Smirnoff Ice.

The Smirnoff ICE RTD packaging had not been updated for over 10 years. Not only was the look and feel dated, the packaging architecture could not adequately accommodate further brand extensions. The key aspects of the brief was to deliver across the board changes that would look to improve on the following areas of the primary and secondary packaging:

• Increase contemporary cues
• Drive further history and heritage
• Increase standout
• Increase masculinity
• Drive further refreshment
• Increase quality cues
